Interim pool manager out in curious turn of events

On Monday Ouray City Council ratified termination of a professional services contract for interim pool manager, a contract that had been approved just six days before but had not yet been signed by the mayor. Council members did not discuss the motion for ratification, nor did they allow public comment.
Council also fired City Administrator Katie Sickles on Monday. See story on page 1.
City Resource Director Rick Noll said on Friday he will manage the pool until a permanent manager is hired.
