Nordic Council will stay alive with a new generation of board members E-mail

In response to last month's announcement by the Ouray County Nordic Council that this would be the last year of operation, nine individuals stepped up to take the reins and continue the council's work. During their tenure, the current council has located, mapped and groomed the cross country trails of Ironton Park, established a positive relationship with the Forest Service and contributed to building Ouray’s winter economy. The Nordic Council's next generation will be led by: Joanie Gibbs, Kathy Daley, Ann Morgenthaler, Ben Tisdel, Al Lowande, Nikki Campbell, Bill Leo, Scott Withrow and Chris Knight.
