Robert Linn, formerly of Ouray, died on December 8, 2015 in LaGrange Park, Illinois. He was born on June 29, 1938 in Denver, Colorado to Thomas and Ruth Linn. He graduated from East High School there and went to the University of Wyoming where he met his future wife, Joyce. They were married in the Wee Kirk O' the Heather chapel in Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA on August 29, 1958.
He received his BS in Psychology from UCLA and his MS and PhD in Psychology from the University of Illinois. He was the Director of Developmental Research for Educational Research in Princeton NJ, professor of statistics for the University of Illinois and University of Colorado-Boulder, a Fellow at the Center of Advanced Studies at Stanford University, and Co-Director of the National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing at UCLA.
